Some HTML codes
You can copy/paste this entire page into a "Notepad" file for your future use. Then, you can copy/paste the code into the Answer Point "Answer" text box and make any changes necessary. When you close the "Notepad" file, just click "No" if a dialog box asks if you want to save changes and your "cheat sheet" file won't be changed.

This page has information about using the "copy/paste" function.
This is a great place to practice this: http://www.gettingstarted.net/
Click the "Practice" link.

Your website address should be pasted in between the "quote" marks.
<a href="http://yoursite.com"> link words </a>

The following are some codes you can use to "spice-up" standard text:
<BR> creates line break When you wish to start a new line.
This is a Start tag: <B>
This is a Stop tag: </B>
<B> starts Bold
</B> Stops Bold Type in the <B> in front of the word(s) you wish to Bold. Then the </B> where you wish the Bold to stop.
Use the same method with Start and Stop tags with the rest of the codes.
<U> Starts Underline
</U> Stops Underline
<I> Starts Italic
</I> Stops Italic
 Starts subscript
 Stops subscript
 Starts superscript
 Stops superscript
< blockquote >starts Indent
</blockquote > stops Indent
< font size=4> starts font size
</font> stops font size
< font color=red > starts font color
</font> stops font color(basic colors blue, green, etc.)
<FONT SIZE=2 COLOR="FF0030">
< marquee> starts marquee
</marquee> stops marquee
What I have done to simplify this is to put most of these codes in a notepad file. When I need a link to a site (to help answer a question), I just paste the URL into the link between the " " symbols. I keep alot of URLs (for my site) saved so I just need to paste them into any answer. Then to make the notepad file easily available, I assigned it it a keyboard shortcut. I named my file "links.txt" so I used the Ctrl + Alt + L for the keyboard shortcut. To do this, save your file to the C:\ drive. Then put a shortcut either on the Desktop or Start Menu. Right click on the Shortcut/select "Properties", then in the "Keyboard shortcut window", press the keys you want to use.
I hope this will prove to be helpful!

Note: you use this code to show HTML code within HTML enabled pages:
< will display the Less Than symbol <
> will display the Greater Than symbol >
An easy way to make this change is to paste a line (or lines) of code into a word processor program like MS Word and then highlight it. Click the Edit menu, Find/Replace tool. Set the Find to:
<
and the replace to:
<
Then click the Replace All and all < symbols will be replaced with <. Do the same with the > symbol, replacing it with: >
Then copy/paste the code into the Answer Point text box. It will display the code correctly.
